Supervised Family Time Provider

Northwest Rocky Mountain CASA

The Supervised Family Time Provider is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, supportive, and
structured environment for children to visit with non-custodial parents. This role is critical in promoting
healthy parent-child relationships while adhering to court orders and agency guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and supervise parenting time visits between children and non-custodial parents in
accordance with program policies and court orders.
• Ensure a neutral, safe, and supportive environment free from conflict or inappropriate interactions.
• Conduct intake interviews with custodial and non-custodial parents, as well as with children when
appropriate, to gather necessary information and explain the visitation process.
• Schedule family time visits, balancing the availability of families, court requirements, and provider
availability.
• Document all visits with clear, objective, and factual notes.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and neutrality for both children and their parents.
• Intervene appropriately in the event of unsafe behavior or policy violations and report incidents to
the coordinator or appropriate authorities as needed.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with all parties, maintaining a supportive and
nonjudgmental demeanor.
• Follow all organizational protocols related to safety, mandatory reporting, and child welfare.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children and families, especially in high-conflict or trauma-informed
settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain neutrality and composure in emotionally
charged situations.
• Ability to follow legal and organizational guidelines with consistency and professionalism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear and objective
documentation.
• Reliable transportation and flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Background check and training required prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Bilingual skills a plus.
